The Godin Family

Kevin was born and raised in Texas to wonderfully committed Christian parents, and he came to faith at an early age. During a summer camp in his middle school years, he felt called to serve as an overseas missionary. With that calling in mind, he received his BA in Church Ministries (with a Missions Emphasis) from Hardin-Simmons University in 1997. That summer, he married his best friend, Brigitte.
In 2003, Kevin received his MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the following year he and Brigitte were appointed as missionaries with the International Mission Board (IMB). Together, they served as church planters in East Asia for eleven years. After permanently returning to the US and briefly working as a manager at Chick-fil-A, Kevin was invited to serve on staff as an associate pastor with FBC Mustang (OK) giving oversight to missions, men’s ministry, singles, and college/career. Although his time at FBC Mustang has been incredibly fulfilling, he once again feels God’s call to return to serving in an underserved area for the sake of the gospel.

Kevin enjoys hiking, dating his wife (especially while trying out new restaurants!), and spending time with his family.

Brigitte grew up as a pastor’s kid and came to saving faith in Christ as a child. She was a homebody who didn’t like the thought of traveling overseas, much less serving as an international missionary. But as a college freshman, God called her to ministry. After marrying Kevin in 1997, she finished her B.B.S. degree in social work from Hardin- Simmons University and worked as a case manager in Fort Worth, Texas during which Kevin finished seminary.
While serving in East Asia as missionaries, God blessed Kevin and Brigitte with 3 kids: Grace, Trinity, and Josiah. In addition to serving as a missionary and educator, she most recently began working for the Reed Estate Team in Englewood.

Brigitte loves music, cooking, and great conversations with loved ones.
