Get to know Kevin.
Kevin was born and raised in Texas to wonderfully committed Christian parents, and he came to faith at an early age. During a summer camp in his middle school years, he felt called to serve as an overseas missionary. With that calling in mind, he received his BA in Church Ministries from Hardin-Simmons University in 1997. That summer, he married his best friend, Brigitte.
In 2003, Kevin received his MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the following year he and Brigitte were appointed as missionaries with the International Mission Board (IMB). Together, they served as church planters in East Asia for eleven years. After permanently returning to the US in 2015 and briefly working as a manager at Chick-fil-A, Kevin was invited to serve on staff as an associate pastor with FBC Mustang (OK). After serving there for five years, he and Brigitte had a strong desire to start a biblically faithful church where one was desperately needed. In early 2022, their family moved to the Denver Metro area to explore exactly where they should plant their lives, and they ultimately decided to move to Broomfield with the goal of starting Redeemer Church Colorado.
